3 Most Recognizable Logo Designs

A company is often best recognized by its logos. It defines its culture, purpose and outlook. Some of the most well-known ones are-

Apple Inc: The late Steve Jobs and Ron Wayne designed the first apple logo which was a depiction of Sir Isaac Newton sitting under the historical apple tree. In 1976, this was replaced by bitten apple, rainbow coloured, designed by Rob Janoff. The rainbow colour was used only till 1998, after which it became plain black, silver or white. Apple Inc is now a multinational corporation, which markets and designs hugely popular electronic products such as iPhone, iPod and iPad, personal computers and computer software.

Coca Cola: Designed in 1885 by Frank Mason Robinson, John Pemberton’s bookkeeper, this cursive scrip logo has undergone many changes. The Coca-Cola Company is an American multinational manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages and syrups.

Google: Designed by Ruth Kedar in 1996, this logo has also undergone a lot of changes. The current logo is a workmark based on the Catull typeface. As a tribute to historical dates and events, the original logo is modified accordingly. These are popularly known as Google doodles. Started as a research project by Stanford University students, Google Inc. is now a multinational public corporation, with its most popular service being Google Search, the search engine.
